Technology

Our Technology Services team maintains the digital resources that power learning in Dumas ISD. We manage the district's network, phone systems, and Internet access, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity. Our team also oversees all student devices—Chromebooks, tablets, and classroom computers—so students and staff have the tools they need every day.

Supporting teachers is a big part of what we do. We provide tech support, training, and access to educational software, helping educators integrate digital resources into their classrooms. Our department manages the digital platforms that connect students, teachers, and families, keeping our technology aligned with state standards and best practices in K-12 education.

We’re committed to creating a safe, efficient, and forward-thinking tech environment for everyone. Whether it’s solving tech issues, upgrading systems, or introducing new tools, our team is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience across Dumas ISD.

Student Technology Support

Our Technology Services team is here to help students with their devices. For junior high and high school students in our one-to-one Chromebook program, tech support and repair services are available. If you need help with your Chromebook, visit the tech office on your campus. If the tech office is closed, you can check in with the campus office or, in some cases, the library/media center for limited support.

At our elementary and intermediate campuses, students use Chromebooks assigned to their classrooms. If a student at these campuses needs help with a device, they should talk to their teacher first. The teacher will contact a campus technology specialist if more help is needed, and the specialist will come to the classroom to assist. Our goal is to make sure every student has a working device to support their learning.

Device Usage Agreement

The Device Usage Agreement is designed for Dumas High School and Junior High School students and their parents participating in the Chromebook one-to-one Initiative.
