Please understand that you have to apply and interview to be considered for the substitute training. 

• Submit your application online - Applicants need to complete an online application.

• Schedule & complete an interview. - You will have the opportunity to set up an interview after you receive an email from the application system. The interview email will be sent.  

• Complete necessary paperwork.  - You will need to upload your drivers license, Social Security card, and a copy of your high school transcript to your application. After you complete the paperwork, you must bring it by central office at 421 W. 4th Street and return it to Connie Crossland.  

• Attend a substitute training. - You must attend substitute training which is required. The next training will be announced, and will be in the board room at Central Office from 4:00-7:00 pm. After the training you will be required to get fingerprinted. Previous fingerprinting can only be accepted if it was done through a school district. If you have not been fingerprinted there is a $47-$55 fee that will have to be paid by the applicant to get fingerprinted.
