Growing up in Dumas, it is hard to believe that you can change the world, but Paul Mills, DHS class of 1974, has done just that. His work on the Young Messiah was truly groundbreaking in the world of synthesizers, sampling and merging new music with classical music. Paul’s innovations opened the door to a totally new sound which changed the musical world. He has music credits on many movies, but  has been recently acclaimed for his score for “War Room”,  which broke through the secular world of movies with a box office Christian hit movie. Paul is the best of what Dumas is all about. He was raised here but by loving parents and made his way through Dumas Schools. He is a husband and loving dad as well as a film score a writer, arranger, producer and musician. Paul’s foundation is here and Dumas and he has gone on to make a difference in the world for war room which broke through the secular world of movies with a box office Christian hit movie.
