Glenn Kiser is definitely the “small town boy who made it big”.  Raised on the Mesa Ranch, Kiser’s relationship with DISD began at Morningside Elementary and came full circle when he graduated from DHS.  He left his “small town” home to begin a new adventure in Cambridge, Massachusetts to study at Harvard College.  Before he graduated, Glenn created several short films and acted in over 30 stage productions, including the famous Hasty Pudding theatricals.  These experience led him into the film industry where he has played an integral role in such successful film projects as Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Million Dollar Baby and Star Wars.   Currently he writes and directs his owns films while running his own production company in West Hollywood, California.  Glenn Kiser is living proof that from here, DHS, with hard work and determination, you can go anywhere.
