Amarillo College Foundation Scholarship – Application opens Nov. 15- deadline to apply: March 1, 2023
This Scholarship is for students that are planning on attending Amarillo College. Students MUST apply to Amarillo College through Apply Texas PRIOR to completing this application. If a DHS student wishes to remain QUEST eligible, they must complete and submit this scholarship. The scholarship opens on November 15, 2022. JANUARY
Grow Ag Leaders exists to make youth aware of the various career opportunities within the industry of agriculture by providing scholarships that help further their education. The Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer, offers $1,500 scholarships to students pursuing a career in various sects of agriculture.
In order to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the below criteria:
Ford Built Tough – $1,000 Scholarship -Deadline Jan. 12, 2023 application open Nov. 1, 2022
In 1998 Ford started supporting the National FFA Organization by being one of the first dealer scholarship programs and awarded $405,000 to 405 students. After years of continued support and thousands of recipients more than $12.4 million in scholarships have been awarded by Ford dealers across the nation. At a cost of $500 to the dealer and $635 to Ford corporate, Ford will match a total of 500 scholarships that will be awarded in the name of the partnering dealer. Each dealer has the opportunity to sponsor as many $1,000 dollar scholarships as they choose.

Rotary Club Scholarship – Deadline to apply: February 3, 2023

H-E-B Scholarship Program for Community Service Excellence opportunity- Due February 3, 2023

There will be 15 total winners – 5 each in music, academics, and athletics – and each will be awarded $2,000 from H-E-B. An announcement of the winners will be at the UIL Boys Basketball State Championships.
Amarillo Area Foundation Scholarship – Deadline to apply: Friday, February 10, 2023, @ NOON
Amarillo Area Foundation offers scholarships to students around the panhandle of Texas. Click on the link above and register as a Scholarship Applicant. The actual scholarship application opens in early December. There will also be videos posted on their site to help guide you through the process.
Our Scholarship Web Application for the 2022-23 Academic year is now open and available at aaf.spectrumportal.net! Please note that the deadline is February 10, 2023, at 12:00 noon. This is a hard deadline and no applications can be accepted after this time, so it is very important that students complete their applications well before that deadline. Along with their applications, students will need to submit two letters of recommendation, a current resume, their parent's 1040, a birth certificate or Legal Permanent Resident card, documentation of Dual Credit courses and ACT/SAT scores if they have been taken, and a seven-semester transcript which includes their grades for Fall 2022. Students can begin collecting this documentation, writing essays, and registering in the Spectrum Portal as well as filling out their basic information in the application while they await their Fall 2022 grades. Remember, they only have to fill out one application to be matched to any of our scholarships for which they qualify. We will have a series of videos available in the next several weeks posted to our website detailing our processes and answering many FAQs, I will send those links out to you as soon as they are available.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholarship – Deadline to apply: February 15, 2023
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to Latino students, as well as related support services. HSF seeks to give students all the tools they need to apply to college, do well in their course work, graduate, enter a profession, excel, help lead our nation going forward, and mentor the generations to come. Shamrock is the home of the biggest and best annual St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration in the great state of Texas.
The Miss Irish Rose Scholarship pageant will be held on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19 and is open to young ladies currently enrolled in high school. Moore County Farm Bureau Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 1, 2023
The Moore County Farm Bureau will award one or more $ 1,000.00 scholarships to students graduating from high school in Spring 2023 and entering college or an approved Technical/Trade school in Fall 2023 whose parent(s) or grandparent(s) have been members of Moore County Farm Bureau since at least March 1, 2020.
This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the information requested on this application including but not limited to high school grades/GPA, demonstration of leadership potential through extracurricular activities and work experience, and family financial need.
Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society Memorial Foundation Asthma Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 1, 2023
The Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society (TAAIS) Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the 2023 TAAIS Memorial Foundation Asthma Scholarship Award. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2023.

Golden Spread Electric Cooperative Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 1, 2023

ACET offers twenty scholarships annually to graduating high school students. The tuition scholarships are for $1,000 and are payable directly to the college, university, or other post-secondary institution of the student's choice. Student applicants must provide documented proof of participation in a compensatory education program sometime during their school career. The definition of a compensatory program is a program that provides remedial assistance and support for students who have failed STAAR or are at risk of dropping out of school. Additional programs include programs for migrants, Title I, Bilingual/ESL, and pregnant or parenting students.

Amarillo Texas A&M Club Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 15, 2023
The 2022 Amarillo Area A&M Scholarship application is now available at Amarillo Area A&M Scholarship Form This year all applications must be submitted via email to amarilloamc@aggienetwork.
1. Seniors, transfer students, and current Texas A&M students are eligible.
2. All seniors must be attending a school in Armstrong, Carson, Castro, Deaf Smith, Hartley, Hutchinson, Moore, Oldham, Potter, Randall, or Swisher County.
3. All students must be able to show acceptance to Texas A&M.
4. All current Amarillo Texas A&M Club Scholarship recipients must reapply to compete for the scholarship.
Awards
Scholarship amounts are determined by the AMET Scholarship Committee on the basis of background in migrant farm work, financial need, and the academic potential of the youth. A minimum of one scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to college undergraduate students and ten scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded annually to entering freshmen. Scholarship funds are to be used to support the cost of higher education by covering unmet student financial and self-help aid. Scholarships disbursed are not payment for students' services. Scholarship recipients may reapply annually to be considered for an undergraduate award.
Criteria:
Be a graduating high school senior or junior (early graduate)
Must have a current Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for the Migrant Education Program during the student's final year of high school
Must enroll in an accredited educational institution (public or private college, technical or vocational school) in the summer or fall semester following high school graduation
Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
H&H Federal Credit Union - Frank Lewis Memorial Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 24
An application that requires a student to be a graduating senior from Moore County and have an account with H&H FCU in their name by the due date of the application. The application can be completed over the phone. 1(one) Dumas High School student will receive this scholarship if they complete the scholarship requirements. Fill out the application and mail it to the Credit Union.
Harwell and Cook Orthodontics Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 31, 2023, ALL DISD SENIORS
Dr. Harwell and Cook. offer one $1,000 and two $500 scholarships to three high school seniors who achieve both in and out of the classroom. A committee of people from both inside and outside of the office will evaluate each scholarship form submitted. Texas Telephone Association Foundation Scholarship – Deadline to apply: March 31, 2023
Any student who is graduating from a Texas High School in Spring 2023 who is a U.S. citizen, has a 3.0 GPA or higher, and is planning on attending a Texas college or university in Fall 2021 is eligible to apply.
KJIL and KHYM Go Scholarship – Due March 31st, 2022
To qualify, students must be enrolling in college for the first time and be full-time for the Fall of 2022 at a Christian college or university.
To apply, submit an application along with required documentation. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Don't Mess with Texas Scholarship Contest – Deadline to apply March 31, 2022
Don’t Mess with Texas Scholarship Contest is now open and offers three scholarships (2-$2000, 1-$6000). This contest recognizes the achievements of high school seniors who have taken a leadership role to prevent litter in their school or community, and promote awareness of the Don’t Mess with Texas initiative. You must plan on attending a 2 or 4 year Texas college or university next year.

Capital Farm Credit – Deadline to apply: April 11, 2023
The applicant must list extracurricular activities as well as attach a transcript. The applicant must be ready to conquer the world and have an 80 or above grade point average.
Moore County A&M Club Scholarship – Collier and Bobby Phillips Memorial Scholarship – Deadline to apply: April 6, 2023
Open to any senior planning to attend Texas A&M University and graduate from a Moore County school.
Each year the Moore County A&M Club Foundation presents the Collier and Bobby Phillips Memorial Scholarship to outstanding students graduating from Moore County high schools. The scholarship is for one year and at least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. Primary considerations for the awards include financial hardships, academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities (excluding athletics), reasons (excluding athletics) for wanting to attend Texas A&M University, and financial need. The DSA Scholarship is open to the following 4 areas of applicants:

Moore County Texas Tech Alumni Association Scholarship – Deadline to apply: April 14, 2023
The applicant is required to provide a letter of acceptance to Texas Tech and write a paragraph discussing your high school experience. A second paragraph explaining the reason you chose Texas Tech, as well as other topics, is required. The application must be returned to the Student Success Center, Misty Stroebel room 202.

This scholarship is open to Dumas High School Seniors that are attending a four-year university. The scholarship is worth over $20,000 over four years. Applicants may receive additional scholarships as long as those scholarships are not based on athletic ability and they do not total more than $10000. Must show proof of applying for FAFSA. Applicants must submit paperwork each semester to ensure the grade average of 2.5 is met along with the minimum course load.
1947 Clubette/Centuryette Scholarship –Deadline to apply April 28, 2023
This scholarship requires a DHS student to be a member of the local Clubette/Centuryette organization. Submit the application to Misty Stroebel room 202.
Sunset Avry Graves Memorial Scholarship – Deadline to apply: April 28, 2023
Applicant must have attended Sunset Elementary for at least 3 years and be a graduating senior of DHS. Submit the application to Misty Stroebel room 202.
City of Cactus/ Cactus Elementary Scholarship – Deadline April 28, 2023
The City of Cactus Mayor, Council, and City Manager have each donated their salary to promote the higher education of Cactus Elementary graduates. The applicant must have completed at least three years at Cactus Elementary School and be a Dumas High School Graduate that plans to continue his or her education at a college or vocational institution. The scholarship is in the amount of $2500. Submit the application to Misty Stroebel room 202.
Morningside PTO Scholarship – Deadline to apply: April 28, 2023
The applicant must have attended Morningside Elementary for 3 years and will graduate from Dumas High School. Submit application via email to Mrs. Stroebel. misty.stroebel@dumasisd.org
Benton Ray Memorial – Deadline to apply April 28, 2023
This scholarship is intended for any boy or girl athlete. The student must list sports involvement in the application. Turn application into Mrs. Stroebel room 202.

This scholarship is open to all DHS Senior NHS members. The scholarship will be posted to NHS Google Classroom. Applications will be submitted online to Mrs. Funderburg.
PHEASANT TRAILS LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION- Deadline April 28, 2023

The De Jong Foundation is pleased to continue to offer The De Jong Foundation Agricultural Scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year in the amount of $2,000. The award(s) will be given to a student(s) with a demonstrated interest in supporting the mission of agriculture.

2022 Buster Bynum Scholarship - Deadline May 20, 2022
The South Eastern States Pupil Transportation Conference (SESPTC) is comprised of fourteen member states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) will grant a $2,000 Buster Bynum Education Scholarship to one 2021 Texas high school graduate. Named in honor of R.A. “Buster” Bynum, retired Director of the Virginia Department of Education’s pupil transportation office and former SESPTC treasurer, this one-time $2,000 education scholarship is made available to one deserving public school student in each of the fourteen-member southeastern states.
Attached you will find the scholarship application which includes award guidelines, required documentation, and the award process. Please ensure that each applicant provides proof of household income, not just one parent's income, and the proper supporting documents. Failure to do so will result in a delay and possible disqualification of the student being considered as a recipient of the scholarship.

The mission of the Grow Texas Scholarship Program (GTSP) is to help young Texans develop the skills needed to lead Texas agriculture into the future. Helium Litigation Scholarship – Deadline to apply: February 15, 2022
The Helium Litigation Scholarship offers scholarships to incoming college freshmen for Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. The student must plan to pursue a course of study in an area relating to agriculture, the environment, or energy. Applicant MUST have a minimum ACT composite score of 23 and/or a minimum SAT score of 1130 to apply.

Amarillo Women's Network Scholarship​ – Deadline to apply is
Each year AWN awards scholarships to deserving students from the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. A “student” is not limited to a recent high school graduate. A student may also be any woman who is entering college for the first time or perhaps returning to finish a degree or obtain an advanced degree. Caprock Peace Officers' Association Scholarship – Deadline to apply:
The CPOA considers community, education and fellowship to be a few of the elements we have build our foundation upon. Our purpose is to provide members with access to the highest quality leadership development, training and Continuing Law Enforcement Education opportunities. The CPOA Scholarship fund will continue to award college scholarships to deserving applicants wishing to further their education. Scholarships will be awarded to : graduating high school seniors and current college students who will be attending a college, university, or vocational school in the fall of 2019.
CHS Scholars Program – Deadline to apply:
In 2020, CHS and the CHS Foundation will fund nearly 200 scholarships to students enrolled in an agricultural-related program at partnering two- and four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,000.

A) Students must be entering their sophmore, junior or senior in an agriculture-related degree program.
B) Students pursuing a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) field of study with an interest in agriculture, cooperatives or rural America will be considered.
Federation of Insurance Women of Texas Scholarship – Deadline to apply:
The Federation of Insurance Women of Texas offers a two thousand dollar scholarship to a current high school senior or a college student. The money is distributed $1000 in the fall of 2018 and $1000 in the spring of 2019. The college or university that you attend must be in the state of Texas.

NAFEPA Scholarship Program – Deadline to apply:
The National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators offers this scholarship program to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying seniors or high school graduates attending their first year of college. Two scholarships are for students pursuing a degree in Education. The other two scholarships may be awarded to applications pursuing a degree in Education or any other field. To be eligible, candidates must qualify for Compensatory Education Programs through their school district.

Take Care of Texas Video Contest – Deadline to apply: December
Waste Management sponsors this contest that provides scholarships up to $2500. It’s a fun way to learn about the environment and share that knowledge3 with others. To enter, participants create a 30-second video that shows positive ways to Take Care of Texas like how to keep our air clean, keep our water clean, conserve water, save energy or reduce waste. There are a total if six winners from all over the state.
Texas Telephone Association Foundation Scholarship – Deadline to apply: App not updated
Any student who is graduating from a Texas High School in Spring 2021 who is a U.S. citizen, has a 3.0 GPA or higher, and is planning on attending a Texas college or university in Fall 2021 is eligible to apply.
Texas Department of Transportation Scholarships – Deadline to apply:
The Texas Department of Transportation provides tuition assistance to eligible economically disadvantage students majoring in civil engineering, computer science, management information systems or computer information systems. Student must be a Texas resident attending or planning to enroll in a four-year Texas public college or university.
Texas Engineering Foundation Scholarship – Deadline to apply:
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, a High School Senior with at least a 3.0 GPA, and have school a 29 in math and 25 in English on the ACT. He/she must also enroll in an ABET accredited engineering program.
Texas Public Health Association- Deadline to apply: July
Awarded to students for the purpose of providing financial aid and encouragement to attend the college of their choice for the purpose of pursuing a degree in the field of public health. The number of scholarships to be awarded as well as the dollar amount of scholarship monies available will be announced after the Association’s Spring Quarterly Meeting.

​This scholarship is for graduating seniors who can use their voice and visual media (i.e., video) to share how their public school education has impacted them. The goal of this scholarship is to highlight the “Great Things Happening in Texas Public Schools” from the student’s perspective.
This year, Friends will award one scholarship. The student may be joining the workforce, continuing education through trade schools or other forms of post-secondary training, military, or be college-bound.

The US Air Force has announced a summer opportunity for students interested in aviation. The AIM HIGH Flight Academy Scholarship is a 3-week all-expense paid program that includes 15 flight hours of training at an Air Force-partnered university. Participating students will live, dine, and learn to fly at a university campus. Applications are open through November 30, 2022. This opportunity is available to students between the ages of 16-18 in any career cluster.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation Scholarship – Deadline to apply: December 1, 2022
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need-based, merit scholarship for high-achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college. Three hundred fifty scholarships can be awarded each year.
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Must attend an Eligible Public High School.
3. Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
4. Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
5. Must maintain a four-year or less graduation schedule in college.
6. Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to each fall semester in college. Employment must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation.
7. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for Federal Income Tax Purposes must not exceed $85,000.
8. Must provide a complete copy of the FAFSA SAR showing the EFC.
9. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
10. Must not have a felony conviction.

The Annual $1500 R3 Stem Cell Scholarship Award Opportunity – Deadline December 31, 2022
In an effort to encourage continuing education and motivation for success, R3 Stem Cell will now make it a regular annual opportunity for one student each year to obtain this $1500 scholarship. R3 Stem Cell Scholarship Qualifications
