Ratings, Report Cards, and Performance Reports
Every public school in Texas gets one of two accountability ratings: Met Standard or Improvement Required. Schools receiving the Met Standard rating may qualify for distinctions. The State Report Cards are required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. They provide information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures. Links to Federal Report Cards and Texas Academic Performance Reports are also provided.
Local requirements that address legal and local board policies.
Students handbooks are designed to provide basic information about each campus that you and your child will need during the school year. The handbooks are written to be in harmony with board policy and the Student Code of Conduct.
