Plan for Educationally Gifted Students (PEGS)
The Gifted and Talented program at Dumas ISD consists of a pullout classroom for grades K-6 and pre-AP and AP classes for Jr. High and High school.
Goal of the Dumas ISD Gifted and Talented Program
Dumas ISD students participating in the GT (PEGS) Program will demonstrate skills of self-directed learning, critical thinking, research, communication and collaboration. Students will show evidence of these skills by the development of innovative products and presentations that reflect individuality and creativity and are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience or environment.

Nominations for grades 1-8 GT testing will open on August 17-August 29. Students wishing to test for PEGS/GT may pick up a packet at their school's front office or print the paperwork from the links below. All paperwork will by due by August 29, 2017.

Current students who need to furlough from PEGS must complete the following forms and turn them in to the PEGS teachers.
